Diamond Push-Up
Close-grip push-ups with a triceps emphasis — one of the most effective bodyweight triceps builders.

How to perform
- 1.Hands under the chest, thumbs and index fingers forming a diamond
- 2.Elbows track along the body, not flaring out
- 3.Lower the chest to the hands with a straight body line
- 4.Full arm extension at the top
Common mistakes
- Elbows flaring out to the sides
- Hips sagging as fatigue builds
Tips
- If your wrists complain, angle the hands slightly or move them a bit wider
Limitations
Use caution with issues in: shoulders. If you feel discomfort, reduce the range of motion or swap the exercise — ideally after consulting a coach.
