How to perform
- 1.Land softly on the whole foot with bent knees
- 2.Stand up fully on top of the box
- 3.Step down — don't jump down
Common mistakes
- Jumping down off the box — high impact on the joints
- Chasing box height at the expense of landing mechanics
Tips
- Start with a low box and raise the height gradually
Limitations
Use caution with issues in: knees. If you feel discomfort, reduce the range of motion or swap the exercise — ideally after consulting a coach.
